Update on our fundraising
Everyone, you did it all and even more! Thank you all for jumping in on our crazy scheme to save the theatre by boldly going forward into new endeavors! We have been so humbled and overwhelmed by your generosity, during a difficult time for everyone. A couple of months ago, we couldn’t imagine that you would have hit the goal of $140,000, let alone go blazing past it! If all goes well, we will all be enjoying the new space by early August. Better times are on the way, because of you! Party at the Plaza Space and unveiling of the “Walk of Fame” as soon as we can get all the work done. Cheers to 75 years! Love, Eileen & Wolcott Family
The historic Vashon Theatre, built in 1947, is always evolving to better fit the times & needs of our islanders. We are excited to share some new updates that we are working on! We are so grateful for your continued support!
If you would still like to donate to the theatre, please visit our Go Fund Me Vashon Theatre “Walk of Fame” Fundraiser. Thanks to our friend, Todd Pearson, for organizing this Go Fund Me page and so much more!
-Open-air venue in our large parking lot, a multi-faceted place that will attract people for a variety of reasons.
– Large LED video display. Day or night, movies of all kinds can be shown on this screen rather than the high-cost, first run films that will continue to be shown in the Theatre.
